Therapy & coaching

A collaborative, evidence-based approach to personal change. Joy and distress are universal aspects of life, shaped in large part by the relationship each of us has with ourselves and our lives. When stress, loss, anxiety, or major life transitions arise, that relationship can become difficult to feel and see clearly on our own. In therapy and coaching, we work together to develop insight, practical tools, and a deeper sense of self-assurance. My approach is grounded in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and informed by health psychology, neuroscience, and decades of clinical experience.

When attention becomes the struggle

Many people I work with are not struggling because they lack insight or motivation, but because their attention is constantly pulled away — from the present moment, from their intentions, and from themselves. This can show up as chronic distractibility, difficulty following through, rapid emotional reactions, mental overload, or a sense of always being "behind." For some, this pattern overlaps with ADHD. For others, it reflects stress, anxiety, grief, burnout, or long-standing nervous system patterns. Rather than focusing narrowly on labels, my work emphasizes helping people reliably return their attention to the present moment, regain agency, and begin the next step of life with clarity.

I am licensed to practice psychology in California.
CA License #PSY23067
I currently offer video sessions only.
Evening sessions are available for some clients. Many people find that working later in the day — when the body’s natural rhythms begin to settle — supports reflection, emotional awareness, and sustained change. If this option appeals to you, please feel free to ask about availability.
